Maya Care Foundation - Empowering Senior Citizens Through Assistive Technology
Maya Care Foundation successfully conducted the AmiCane Distribution Drive on 11 March 2025, bringing life-enhancing assistive technology directly to senior citizens in need. The initiative was made possible through the generous funding support of Acquarius Engineers Pvt. Ltd., enabling the distribution of smart walking sticks designed to improve mobility, safety, and independence among the elderly.
The event was generously supported by Marathwada Mitra Mandal Trust and IMERT, who provided the venue and essential infrastructure required to execute the program at scale. The event was graced and chaired by Prin. Dr. B. G. Jadhav, whose presence inspired volunteers and beneficiaries alike.
The strong participation of Maya Care Foundation’s volunteers and the enthusiastic engagement of senior citizens transformed the event into a powerful example of community-led social impact, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to dignity, safety, and independent living for the elderly.
This initiative marks a meaningful step towards building a safer and more inclusive ecosystem for India’s ageing population.
Fall Prevention Awareness Session at Athashree Senior Living
Athashree, a landmark senior living project by Paranjape Schemes, organized an informative awareness session for its residents, focused on senior safety and fall prevention. Our Co-Founder, Dr. Prasad Honap, was privileged to deliver an expert presentation on the topic “How Not to Fall”, highlighting practical strategies and best practices for reducing the risk of falls among senior citizens.
The programme included a structured live demonstration of the AmiCane Smart Walking Stick, followed by an extensive and highly interactive question-and-answer session. The active participation of the residents contributed significantly to the success of the session.

KBBF Confers Pitambari KBBF Awards 2025
The Karhade Brahman Benevolent Foundation (KBBF) proudly conferred the Pitambari KBBF Awards 2025 in recognition of exceptional young businessmen and leading women entrepreneurs for their outstanding contributions to innovation, leadership, and business excellence.
The awards were presented by the esteemed Managing Director, Shri Ravindra Prabhudesai, at a distinguished ceremony held in Dombivli.
We are honored to announce that our Co-Founder, Mr. Rajendra Sapre, was bestowed with the Karhade Innovative Entrepreneur Award (Karhade Kalpak Udyojak Puraskar) for his pioneering work in the development of the AmiCane Smart Walking Stick.
As part of the ceremony, Mr. Sapre delivered a live demonstration of the AmiCane device, which was highly appreciated by the distinguished guests and attendees for its innovation, design, and impact in elderly safety and mobility.
